An evening of “luminous” (moonlight) poetry with Indian poets and Mridula Sinha, writer and Governor of Goa at her residence, part of the Goa Arts and Literature Festival. A writer herself, the Governor even concluded the evening by reading a poem about the freedom a woman finds by riding a bicycle in India! Unfortunately it was in Hindi, so I’ll have to find a translation.
"Honestly, you have seen more of Goa and met a wider selection of interesting people than I have in the six odd years that I have been coming to and from Goa" - AD "Just stumbled upon your blog and I have to tell you that it is fascinating. Very engaging and beautifully written." - MP "A beautiful honest upfront style, nuanced with evocative fluidity." - AF "I stumbled upon you blog in the most unexpected way...I read one post and read sixty in one day. You are such a writer, your words ensured that I stick like a magnet onto my mobile screen." - J
